Q. What kind of service is FSBO Desoto Homes?
A. We are a locally owned web based marketing service that brings sellers and buyers together. We are here to help For Sale By Owners sell their property themselves and avoid paying costly realtor commissions. We do not represent the seller or the buyer and receive no commission on the sale of the property. Our fee is strictly for the marketing (advertising) service.
Q. How do buyers get in to see a home?
A. Buyers simply call the seller and schedule a time when they can view the home. The seller's phone number can be found on the yard sign and on the website.
Q. Can the seller make changes to the listing after it has posted?
A. Yes! The seller can make changes to the description, price, photos and even advertise an open house. All changes are real time and will appear immediately. The seller is in control of the listing at all times.
Q. My house has sold, how do I remove it from the site?
A. Simply login and change your properties' status to sold. You may also email us info@fsbodesotohomes.com and we will remove the listing for you and come to pickup your signage. Please make sure all signs are available in your yard for pickup.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Read over our Service Agreement and What's Included in your listing to find the package that is just right for you.
Q. Can I simultaneously list my property with a real estate agent?
A. No. If you decide to list with a real estate agent, please notify us immediately. Send an email to info@fsbodesotohomes.com and we will come by your property and pickup your signs. Please make sure all signs are available in your yard. You may advertise in any other medium you wish while your property is listed with us.
Q. Who owns the signs?
A. The signs are the property of FSBO Desoto Homes. We will handle pickup and delivery, but you are responsible for any damage or theft of the yard sign. Please read our Service Agreement.

A few reminders!
- Prepare your home to be sold. It has been proven that well maintained, clean and clutter free homes sell faster and for more money. Cleaning and organizing (including the garage and yard) will make for a good first impression. Try to look at it from the buyers perspective; what will they see when they drive up and walk in the front door.
- If you run your own ad in the newspaper, be sure to include a link to www.fsbodesotohomes.com and list your ID#. This will save you money by shortening your ad in the newspaper, since they can find out all the information you want them to know about your property just by your telling them to go to our website for the information.
